Everything Spicy Under the Sea is a fabulous furikake type seasoning with an amazing surprise Twist. The freshly roasted sesame seeds, roasted nori, bonito flakes (dried skipjack tuna) and Vancouver Island flaky sea salt are pumped up with Korean gochujaru and chili flakes.
What makes this blend so special? I use Sake Kasu to really blow up the umami blast in this addictive seasoning. Sake Kasu is the result of the artisanal sake production process, sourced from an amazing Canadian sake producer. It's not alcoholic at all; it's the spent rice that's been through the fermentation process. Funky and remarkable, I think it makes all the difference here.
