Sweet Gingerbread Spice Hot Buttered Rum

Doesn't that title just make your mouth water? Sweet gingerbread spice...butter...rum...YUM. A delicious post-dinner treat, or brunch pick me up, this warm, toasty beverage is a holiday season must.

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp Twisted Gourmet Sweet Gingerbread Spice sugar
  • 1 oz Appleton's or other good rum
  • boiling water to fill mug
  • whipping cream & cinnamon stick for garnish, if desired

Method:

Add butter, Twisted Gourmet Sweet Gingerbread Spice sugar & honey to mug. Stir together, and add boiling water. Stir to melt butter. Add rum, top with whipped cream if desired and garnish with a cinnamon stick. Sprinkle whipped cream with more Gingerbread Spice Sugar and enjoy. So easy, so delicious!
